Hear ye, hear ye! The Sarasota Medieval Fair proudly announces the triumphant return of its 22nd Annual Celebration, taking place Saturdays & Sundays, November 7 – December 6, 2026, at our magnificent home, the Woods of Mallaranny.
Nestled among 47 acres of beautiful natural woodlands, the Woods of Mallaranny provides the perfect setting for an unforgettable medieval adventure. Step through the gates and be transported to a world filled with noble knights, daring warriors, skilled artisans, lively entertainers, and endless excitement for guests of all ages.
The sounds of the fair already echo through the forest—the herald's cry to "Throw Wide the Gates!", laughter from the Children's Realm, cheers from the tournament field, the melodies of wandering minstrels, and the clash of steel in epic displays of skill and valor. Follow the irresistible aromas of roasted turkey legs, fresh kettle corn, and other delicious festival fare as you explore every corner of the village.
More than just a festival, the Sarasota Medieval Fair is a cherished community tradition. Every weekend features a fresh lineup of nationally renowned entertainers, musicians, and performers, ensuring that no two visits are ever quite the same. Returning favorites include the beloved Washing Well Wenches, the thrilling Human Combat Chess Match, and the crowd-favorite Full-Armored Jousting Tournaments, held twice daily.
Experience the majesty and madness of the Middle Ages as knights, jesters, minstrels, wenches, and rogues bring the village to life. Witness daring tournaments, ride attractions, test your skills with games, browse the Artisan Marketplace, and raise a toast in our English pubs.
